I just found a new apartment in NYC and the real estate broker needed a deposit and wouldn’t take personal checks “because they bounce.” They need TRUST and instant transfer of a large sum on a Saturday when banks are closed. Sure enough they took Bitcoin! This was the first time I’ve ever NEEDED Bitcoin. Seeing them hand me their Bitcoin QR unprompted brought an instant smile to my face along with an audible laugh. Just thought I’d share the experience. Bitcoin definitely has a place and is being adopted.
