The Oppo Reno 4 series is now set to launch June 5 in China officially.

The Oppo Reno 4 series has been on the rumor mill for a few days now, and things have moved forward pretty quickly, and we do not have to speculate anymore.

Oppo has finally provided a launch date for the Reno 4 series through its official Weibo account, and it will be on June 5 at 7:30 PM China Standard Time.

The leaks already gave us a glimpse of the Reno 4’s design and specifications, but we have not received any official announcement on the details save for this official Oppo Reno 4 trailer.

Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro display and cameras

The vanilla Oppo Reno 4 will come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, while the Reno 4 Pro will come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen. Both variants will also support full HD+ resolution at 90Hz refresh rate. The trailer has confirmed the speculated triple rear camera design for the series.

The Reno 4 will also include an impressive 48-megapixel primary camera sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The Pro version also benefits from the 48-megapixel main camera but will include a 13-megapixel telephoto lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. For the front camera, the Reno 4 comes with a dual selfie camera system consisting of a 32-megapixel selfie shooter and a secondary 2-megapixel lens. The Reno 4 Pro features a 32-megapixel camera.

Oppo Reno 4 series internal specifications

Most speculations point to a Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G processor to power the smartphone, while the Adreno 620 GPU takes care of the graphics side.

The Reno 4 and the Reno 4 Pro are said to utilize a 4000mAh Li-Po battery. But the big surprise is Oppo’s decision to integrate their proprietary 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charge technology. This makes the Reno 4 series the first non-flagship models that will take advantage of this impressive charging tech.

The 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 is the highest-rated fast charge technology currently available and was only previously integrated with Oppo’s flagship models like the Reno Ace, Find X2 series, and OPPO Ace2.

The Reno 4 series will be 5G enabled. Its official trailer also confirms the blue and the pink color variants, along with the sleek, thin body design it comes with.

Pricing for the Reno 4 series is still unknown, but we should know more about this when the launch date nears.
